Dell Inspiron 15 I15-156B 15.6-Inch Notebook PC - Pacific Blue
I've only just discovered and have become quite attached to my laptop. I find it substitutes my need to experience life on a big city street, as we live so far from one. It's a well of information that is always objective and up-to-date.
As a teacher I couldn't do my job without daily Internet access. What is more I have Internet access. Ten years ago it was a luxury only friends and family who lived abroad enjoyed. We used to have to trek to the BAN building to use an MSG based program to make e-mail contact. This became easier, as I moved to London, UK where Internet was easily available.
I had the chance to explore Internet further on the office PC. It soon became an addiction, a digital world emerged non-existent in my hometown, limited by a crippled economy and political instability. My new life in a well-developed economy required that I learn quickly and use frequently e-mail and Internet. I am grateful I was given this opportunity. It has helped me stay abreast of changes, and continue learning as I teach. I am now a lot more useful to my students.
Thanks to my husband's support I moved on to have my own PC and laptop with Internet access. It has given me a new-found independence professionally. I've started a blog where I can write about my experience, I'm looking into starting a website.
I've not thought through the advertising side. Recently I was invited to a marketing workshop, as University holidays are long, and one has a lot of free time. It was interesting in a way other teacher's lectures are interesting - you exchange ideas. As it focused on marketing and sales, I started to lose faith towards the end. To sell in order to profit is still something I can't get my head/heart around. Although, clearly I depend on this daily. However, I am willing to live and undestand it, and hope the kind people from Amazon don't mind I apply some of their marketing strategies. I have many a story to tell related to their products, I trust it will be useful for all.
